Tai-Chi & Chi-Kung
Tai Chi (太極) significa "o supremo". Isto significa melhorar e progredir em direção ao ilimitado; significa a existência imensa e o grande eterno. Muitas vezes referido como “meditação em movimento”, o Tai Chi visa concentrar e equilibrar o Qi (energia vital) do corpo, proporcionando benefícios à saúde física e mental. Todas as várias direções em que a influência do Tai Chi foi sentida, foram guiadas pela teoria dos opostos: o Yin e o Yang, o negativo e o positivo.
Tai Chi (太極) means "the supreme". This means improving and progressing towards the unlimited; It means immense existence and the great eternal. Often referred to as "meditation in motion," Tai Chi aims to concentrate and balance the body's Qi (vital energy), providing benefits to mental and physical health. All the various directions in which the influence of Tai Chi was felt were guided by the theory of opposites: Yin and Yang, negative and positive.
Chi Kung (QiGong) (氣功) is a therapeutic practice in which exercises are performed, combining gentle movement and controlled breathing, and in which the practitioner's attention and visualization are focused on various parts of the body, in order to alter the flow of energy.
